CloudThink is an open standard for object virtualization in the cloud, encompassing data generation, transmission, storage, and a RESTful API. These digital duplicates then become the basis for application development, serving as input and output analogous to programmatic objects.

MIT's CloudThink Standard is currently an active research and development project. This site hosts information relevant to the academic aspects of the CloudThink standard development.

The first digital virtualizations which are being pursued by the CloudThink consortium are automobiles.
